The Painted Lady is a women’s only Painting and Decorating business located in the West Midlands. The business has been thriving for the past 21 years. Offering a reliable and satisfying service which has gained a rewarding reputation through recommendations alone.

Work will be completed to a high standard using brush and roller techniques, as well as trade quality supplies and equipment. The company will handle both small and large commercial projects, such as community housing, hostels, schools, and interior and exterior decorations.

There are many lone traders in the Birmingham area where the business will be located, but an all-women's decorating company is uncommon. Women in the workplace have increased since the 1980s, according to Brooke (2014), and have become a norm in the United Kingdom.

About The Team!
With 21 years of industry expertise, Hayley Robinson is a seasoned professional and the proud owner of the company. She embarked on her career journey as an apprentice with Ian Williams Ltd, dedicating her initial two years to honing her craft in painting and decorating.
​
Her commitment and hard work paid off as she achieved an NVQ Level 2 certification in Painting and Decorating during this period. She later expanded her practical skillset by gaining a Level 2 qualification in Plastering, further enhancing the range of services she can provide.
​
In addition to her trade expertise, Hayley has achieved a Level 3 Award in Education & Training and a Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocational Achievement, which highlight her ability to teach, assess, and mentor others within the profession. She also holds a BA in Business, equipping her with the knowledge and skills to successfully lead and grow her company.

Throughout her career, Hayley has consistently demonstrated a passion for delivering exceptional results and exceeding client expectations. Her extensive experience and qualifications allow her to approach each project with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring the highest quality outcomes.
